Join us for a Lean Learning Tour at Advanced Heat Treat Corp in Waterloo, where you’ll learn how they apply Lean principles in a manufacturing environment.

Advanced Heat Treat has been practicing Continuous Improvement for roughly 10 years and focuses on implementing 6S, 2 Second Lean, Standard Work, and Employee CI Suggestion Program, among others. During the tour, you’ll get to observe how lean manufacturing tools are used in a service-based heat treat company. You’ll use our ILC Lean Learning Tour forms to capture ideas to take back to your organization and suggestions for Advanced Heat Treat for their continuous improvement journey.

NOTE: We will be touring two facilities. We will meet at 2825 Midport Blvd, Waterloo, IA 50703. During the tour, you will need to move to the second facility 2 miles down the road. There will be stairs to the meeting spaces.
