Edward served for 5 years in the United States Marine Corps as a C-130 aircraft engine mechanic where he managed and conducted service on 14 separate aircraft, provided guidance to others, and met the needs of the fleet’s demands for daily and mission critical needs.After his service, Edward worked at Collins Aerospace as a Calibrator Level 3. There he provided data collection and troubleshooting of fuel nozzle production, as well as delivering training to colleagues. Edward went on to Iowa State University to pursue a degree, and served CIRAS as a student employee and intern at the Digital Manufacturing Lab, powered by Alliant Energy.
Edward will be utilizing his Marine Corps knowledge to provide critical equipment service and project support to CIRAS Project Managers and clients served through the lab.
