GovCon 101 Webinar

Manufacturing Networking: Meet Your Competi-Mate

Date/Time: 10/25/2017, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Diamond Jo Casino, Dubuque, IA
Notes: This event will answer the questions "What is a competi-mate?" and "How can I partner with them for additional business opportunities?". Companies, especially small businesses, may be hesitant to consider pursuing and performing work as a team, especially with someone they may consider a competitor. The Government at all levels is procuring more items and services as "packages" that are either too large for one company to perform, or inclusive of a number of items/services. This event will attempt to drive companies to think outside the box, and provide options for companies to better work together and consider developing partnerships. In addition, the event will expand your current regional industry network and hopefully increase your awareness of resources and potential partnerships. The event will consist of brief discussions from industry experts on timely topics, but primarily will focus on a structured networking session to pursue the goal of more Iowa companies working together to pursue and win business.
